The Crossover Shot (Bonus) 🥃

Wrapping up my mini-series on toasting, I've got something extra special in store for you—a little gem I concocted a few years ago, which has consistently wowed every audience I've shared it with.

Introducing: The Crossover Shot.

Imagine this: drinking a double shot with a twist, designed exclusively for those pivotal life milestones.

Here's the setup:

1. 2 shots of your favorite drink, separated by a line of natural goodness like salt or sugar.

2. Before you dive into that first drink, pause to reflect on the journey that's led you here, the good, the bad, the ugly, all of it.

3. Then, savor the first shot and symbolically "cross over" as you shift your focus to the second.

4. As you prepare for the second shot, visualize the exciting road ahead. Raise a toast and a hopeful prayer to the adventures awaiting you, and then savor that second shot.

Offering people a simple way to elevate life's moments never fails to make an impact beyond measure.

Once, I found myself surrounded by exuberant finance bros celebrating a big promotion at Hotel Chantelle. They were loud and boisterous, and our paths crossed. Seizing the opportunity, I introduced them to the concept of the Crossover Shot.

Their intrigued expressions were just the beginning. As we shared the ceremony, those same guys who had been a touch obnoxious ended up embracing each other in tears.

They declared it as one of their most cherished moments.

Not a bad outcome for a single evening's effort, right?

Tuesday, August 29th @8:00 PM -Thrifty Thursdays(Chris Ee) x Sugary Restaurant Takeover LIN & DAUGHTERS. This mom and pop shop serving up Chinese comfort cuisine is about to be taken over in a sweet way. $35 is the buy-in for 20 spots so come join in a fun evening as Lin and Daughters gain a few more additions to the family.
