WHAT’S NEW?

🖐️ Calling all fitness enthusiasts and friends!

Many of you are familiar with my fitness journey, which I've openly embraced over the past many months. Thanks to the persistent motivation from DK (seriously, he's a force to be reckoned with) and his unrelenting Instagram posts showcasing my struggles, I've made tremendous progress.

However, there's one aspect I haven't quite conquered yet – CARDIO (except when it involves dancing, because who can resist a good dance?)

To address this challenge head-on, I've devised a plan for my non-lifting days: dedicated walks!

I firmly believe that the key to making cardio more appealing is to combine it with something I adore the most – PEOPLE.

Hence, I extend a heartfelt invitation to each and every one of you to join me on my "Sweet Stroll."

It's no secret that I’m the ultimate unofficial (or maybe even official) ambassador of NYC. I encourage everyone to experience the vibrant energy and allure it exudes, despite its transient and ever-changing nature.

Just the other day, I had the incredible privilege of reuniting with a dear friend whom I hadn't seen since the pandemic began. He had been residing in the city for quite some time, and to be honest, he faced numerous challenges during his journey. When we last met, he was in a dire situation, with dwindling options and a difficult financial circumstance. I vividly remember buying him a simple meal, which he hesitantly accepted, feeling a misplaced sense of shame.

Fortunately, before the pandemic hit, he had an opportunity to explore a remote, tropical destination. Although it pained me to see him leave the city, I was genuinely happy that he had a chance to start fresh.

Little did I know what awaited him next.

During his time away, he managed to secure steady employment, care for his ailing father, become the cultural attaché for a prominent social figure, assume the role of CEO in a creative agency, find his true love, and even become a father himself. Hearing about his remarkable achievements filled my heart with immense joy.

And to add a touch of poetry to this tale, it was at that moment he insisted on treating me to a meal as a gesture of gratitude for our years of friendship.

Robert Southey once wisely said,

Life often takes us on different paths than those of our friends. While we may selfishly desire their physical presence for our own sense of security and fulfillment, sometimes the best way to witness their growth and success is to grant them the space to walk away from us geographically.

Although we may feel a tinge of sadness when our friends move away, the idea of them finding happiness and achieving success on their own terms should assuage our feelings of loss.

So let's break through the melancholy and delve into the depths of our genuine admiration for one another. Whether we're just a mile apart or a thousand, that bond will forever be there, ready for us to renew and cherish.

I’ll be curating an evening where curiosity is encouraged in a safe space to expand your world with people that are fascinating on a professional and/or personal level. Curiosity is encouraged and rewarded with a phenomenal evening of conversation and good vibes over some delicious bites and refreshing drinks inside a beautiful event venue in Dumbo!

TISH

Allow me to introduce you to Tish, a remarkable Bronx native who now calls LA home. Her talent is simply unparalleled, surpassing the boundaries of what most artists can achieve.

Each of Tish's songs carries an extraordinary power, invoking raw emotions that stem from her profound lyrical depth and unfiltered vocal honesty. These qualities could only have been shaped by a life filled with hardships and authentic experiences.

I had the privilege of hosting some of Tish's earliest showcases in NYC, back when she was just beginning to rise. Believe me when I say that EVERYONE in attendance was spellbound by her sheer presence.

Whether you're already familiar with Tish's work or not, she is an artist you absolutely must discover. Her truth is profound, and getting to know her artistry will undoubtedly leave an indelible impact on your soul. It certainly did on mine.
