6:30 PM (Tribeca) - Unsent Letter Project Presents: The Write to Read Salon VII - Join us for our first Write to Read salon of the year! If you’ve never joined us before, come experience a salon that has caught the attention of Secret NYC and NBC Nightly News in recent times. Embrace the power of anonymous storytelling capped off with a signature musical performance from a local artist.

7:00pm (UWS): Selected Shorts Presents: A Century of Fiction in the New Yorker - Selected Shorts honors the vibrant tradition of short fiction published by The New Yorker, which this month celebrates its hundredth anniversary. This special evening, hosted by the magazine’s longtime editor, Deborah Treisman, features a talented ensemble of actors, including Ann Harada (Schmigadoon!), Fred Hechinger (Gladiator II), Cynthia Nixon (The Gilded Age), and Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), who will bring to life a selection of iconic stories from the magazine’s century-long history. Each reading is taken from "A Century of Fiction in The New Yorker," a newly published anthology that will be available for purchase at the event.

6:00pm (Union Square): Salmagundi Club Presents: Sypher on Art & Design Eros/Cupid - Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Eleanor Sypher returns with another in her immensely popular series about art and design. Here, she will trace the development of Eros/Cupid through the ages in an illustrated talk.

7:00 PM (Park Slope) - Sugary's 2025 Lunar New Year Potluck - Join us to close out this Lunar New Year with a wonderful community potluck as we celebrate the year to come in good food and good company!

7:00pm (Chinatown): Aptos Presents: Refraction - Joined by our friends at Aptos, Refraction touches back down in New York on February 13th at Lume Studios as IRL season is upon us. In celebration of Aptos Xponential Ecosystem Event and the North American launch of the IRL protocol, we’re taking over the immersive audio-visual system at Lume Studios and bringing Refraction family Towns, All Ships and Zora with us.

10:00am (UES): Museum of the City of New York Presents: Songs of New York (OPENING DAY) - Playful, kinetic, and full of surprises, Songs of New York is an immersive interactive experience that introduces visitors to a full range of music from and about New York City, from the 1920s to the 2020s, showcasing everything from be-bop to K-pop, across genres, boroughs, and musical movements.   

Songs of New York will be installed in a dedicated gallery on the Museum’s second floor in February 2025. Featuring music from 100 artists, programmed with both sound and visuals, Songs of New York reflects on topics like the subway, apartments, nightlife, and neighborhoods, toggling through acts as diverse as Susanne Vega, Tito Puente, Merle Haggard, LCD Soundsystem, Yoko Ono, Lil’ Kim, and many, many others.

6:30pm (Greenpoint): StoryTell x Journaling Classes Presents: Self Love - Join us for an evening of connection through storytelling and journaling in collaboration with @journalingclasses and @storytellnyc.

​This workshop and community gathering will allow you to experience introspection and connection with yourself and others.

7:00 PM (Chelsea) - Unsent Letter Project Presents: Love Unspoken - n honor of Valentine’s month, Unarthodox and The Unsent Letter Mailbox are coming together to create an intimate, multi-sensory experience exploring the unexplored, often misunderstood aspects of love. Coinciding with the Unsent Letter Mailbox’s first anniversary, Love Unspoken will be a night of anonymous letters, live storytelling, immersive art, and music. Through this unique collaboration, guests will engage in an unforgettable creative journey that invites them to reflect on love and its role in shaping our humanity.

6:30pm (Chinatown): The Feels Presents: Session 46, A Mindful Singles Event in NYC - The Feels' mixes time to meet and connect casually, with a 90 min facilitated portion. the format was built in partnership with Columbia University; it blends positive psychology, mindfulness, non violent communication + somatic awareness practices.

We believe that when you feel grounded + good in your body, an openness is available - and that space is ideal for connecting to others. We'll guide you to that place.

6:30pm (Williamsburg): Storefront for Art & Architecture & Cooper Union Presents: Tumbados Symposium - Celebrating artist Guadalupe Rosales and a decade of her ongoing archive project titled Veteranas and Rucas. This dynamic event including poetry, performance, panel discussions, and live music, is organized as part of her year-long public artwork with Lokey Calderon on Storefront’s facade. Tumbados engages with lowrider culture and its role within the built environment in creating and shaping spaces for Latin@/x public life.
