Before I share the Sweet List of Events, I'm reaching out with a special opportunity to make a difference this upcoming holiday season:
To help children learn to read.
(while also being recognized with your name printed in every book)
Tish Rabe is an incredible and prolific children's author most noted for being the ghost writer for many of the current Dr. Seuss books that have extended his enduring literary legacy. To date she has written over 200 rhyming books with over 11 million books sold for Dr. Seuss, Disney, Sesame Street, PBS Kids, Clifford, Curious George, Blue's Clues and many more.
She has joined forces with my dear friend Swan Sit, founder of Word Birds to launch a crowdfunding campaign around Tish's latest NYC themed book, Central Park You Can See Is The Best Place To Be to donate 10,000 books to children in underserved communities.
To keep things simple, they are looking for 50 individuals to donate $1,000 each to achieve their goal by October 15th (in time for printing).
For your generous donation, you will receive:
Your name, or the name of your child or company etc., immortalized on the "Thank You" page in every copy of the book.
A personally signed copy of the book, plus an additional signed copy of the book to use as a gift. Ground shipping to one US address is included.
Exclusive invitations to book launch parties, author appearances, book readings, and more!
If this is a cause that resonates for you, please donate HERE.
Thank you for your consideration of this worthwhile cause for the holidays.
